The Byzantine Choir of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Pittsburgh, on account of its 25th Anniversary (1998-2023) is dedicating the milestone, a first in America, to the remarkable first prelate of the Greek Orthodox Diocese of Pittsburgh, Polyefktos (Finfinis), and the memory of his birthdate 100 years ago.

These events are sponsored by the
American Hellenic Foundation of Western PA, the Greek Nationality Room Committee, and the European Art Center of Greece (EUARCE),

We come together to offer a tribute to the until now mostly-unknown prelate whose humble yet visionary approach carved the way forward for the Greek community of Western Pennsylvania and then the communities entrusted to his care in South America, Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark, and ultimately Sweden.

Each of the events is "virtual".
